We Bought the Farm!
The newest addition to Gildrien Farm is... the farm. After several years of looking, we have just purchased a farm in Leicester, VT. We are now the proud owners of an ancient farmhouse (circa 1795), 50 acres, a few raspberry plants, three plum trees, and some barns. We can now do all the things we have always wanted to do, like planting berries and asparagus.
We have been very busy moving everything here since we closed on Jan. 27. The greenhouses are about all that is left to move, but that will have to wait until the ground thaws.
We will be up and running in time to have CSA and attend the Middlebury Farmer's Market. More updates and pictures to follow.

We now have a facebook account for the farm. We feel this will be the best way to keep everyone informed about all the new and exciting projects on the farm. Click the link below to check out the new page.
Gildrien Farm is a small, diversified farm in Leicester, Vermont, run by husband-and-wife team Jeremy and Caitlin Gildrien. We grow delicious vegetables for our CSA members and ourselves. We're farmers because we love food, our community, and the natural world. We believe that good food, raised well, can improve personal and environmental health while strengthening the local economy. We think it's pretty tasty, too!
